Great seaside restaurant with super fresh seafood! Every dish was tasty, especially the seafood pasta and grilled fish. No oysters that day as the owner only serves them when they’re top quality – very professional. Clean place, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and pet-friendly too. Highly recommended!

We arrived without a booking and were lucky to be offered a table for an early dinner. The service and atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The food we chose was delicious and beautifully served. The children's menu was perfect for our grandchildren. The expresso martini a super way to belatedly celebrate our daughter's 40th! A super treat all round. We would definitely recommend!

OMG this place was amazing! A true family fun business with super friendly staff and amazing food. It was lovely to have fish and chips without feeling bagged immediately after, or having the taste of grease the following morning. I attended as part of a work social and everyone (20 people) were raving about just how good the food was. A must visit when in Barry Island!

The most beautiful place around Cold Knap beach, the staff was amazing, the food was 10/10 and the environment was superb. We went to them around their closing time but they still let us in. Definitely recommend

We had an amazing time at Mr Villa’s, the staff were extremely on top of everything and obliging to our every need. The food was exquisite and I would highly recommend the crusted cod to both seafood and non seafood eaters as it is amazing. We travelled a long way from Australia to enjoy the Uk seafood here and were not disappointed. Definite 5 stars.

Absolutely superb! Stopped for fish and chips take away whilst out with the family. Immaculate staff, very polite and efficient. The cod in our food was as good as I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection too. Hats off to the chef! The chips were also superb. It was a very fair price due such excellent fare. I ran my own restaurant for nearly 20 years. So to visit someone making the huge effort to get everything so right, is something to be very grateful for. Thank you for a 10/10 lunch for my family! 💪

Amazing little family owned restaurant. Everyone was so polite and the service was great! Had my first sea bass dinner and the fish and chips looked great too! The cheesecake was homemade and AMAZING! Great starters with calamari and oysters! Highly recommend if in the area!
